Where did life take you after BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy?

What was your fondest memory of BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy?

Getting to know my classmates and teachers, spending time inside and outside of pathway laughing, joking, and spending time together.

Why did you attend BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy?

I knew I wanted to work in theatre but I didn’t want to be on stage. When watching shows I loved seeing crew backstage and on stage for scene changes and in the box and thought, thats what I want to do. I applied to BOA last minute, lucky to get in during 2023 admissions. And over the past two years I have not regretted applying as I have loved every minute of it and loved truly working in a production team.

Lastly, why should students apply for BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy?

It’s a great opportunity to learn about the industry and how it works. You will get to discover different pathways you can take in life, wether you want to go into film, tv, theatre, live events, festivals, there is something for everyone.

Lastly, a piece of advice for current learners:

Keep on going, it will get hard as it gets busier and final projects just round the corner, but put the time and effort in and it will pay off!
