This open event is for all prospective students and their families interested in Year 12 entry (post-16 education) and Year 14 (Level 4). It’s a chance to explore our facilities, meet current students, and speak with our expert staff.
We will also be running 45-minute taster sessions throughout the day in the following areas: Writing and Directing, Film Making, Lighting and Sound, Makeup, and Theatre Crafts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on and discover a range of creative career pathways.
Backstage Saturday Workshops

We are offering free workshops for ages 14-17
Join us for a range of exciting, practical workshops on Saturday, 15th November, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on and explore various creative fields, including Screen Acting, Film Making, Lighting and Sound, Makeup and Theatre Crafts.
Take part in engaging taster sessions, meet our talented instructors, and find out how you can turn your passion for the arts into a post-16 option and tangible career.

These will take place on Friday mornings between Friday 19th September and Friday 24th October 2025. It's an opportunity to see the academy in full swing, view our purpose-built industry-standard facilities and equipment, and find out more about the different pathways on offer.
